About me
I am a Charleston-based photographer and designer whose work finds meaning in small, human moments — a quiet street at dusk, a conversation between strangers, the pause before laughter. My images reflect a documentary sensibility shaped by years in publishing and design, where composition and story always go hand in hand.
I spent much of my career in publishing, working with organizations including The Washington Post, the National Geographic Society, and the U.S. Institute of Peace. That experience continues to influence my eye — thoughtful, balanced, and drawn to the beauty of authenticity.
Whether photographing the marshes of the Lowcountry or the narrow streets of Italy, I look for the same thing: truth, connection, and the poetry of everyday life.
